Indy Update Day 1

First full day up here, wish I had brought a camra. Got to play a bit of WoW:BC. We also spent a good deal of time learning Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. Great card game. I'd say it is better than Magic.

Indy Update: Day 0

Even though we haven't been up here a whole day, it has been very interesting. Once we got up here and to the hotel, Walt had entered his room and the smell of mildew was overwhelming. The receptionist had only been on the job for 5 weeks so she did not know what to do, so for tonight we had to sleep 3 to a room. Once we got checked in and everything out of the car we went to eat a Cracker Barrel. Our waitress was really nice. A few mins after we order we get more "bad" news. For the 1st time in 3 years, they are out of mashed potatoes (but they have baked potatoes, but i digress). Our luck does not seem to going well today.

LOL, the 1st challange is get to a backdoor. Despite 2 attack dogs. I like this "Monkey Girl." She won't quit. It took her about 10 min to do it, but she did it.

You’re promised Wednesday update, on Sunday…

The title is mostly for Swabby, seeing how I told him I was going to update this on Wednesday, but I am just now getting around to it. There you go, you bastard.

There is nothing really new to report about me and school yet. The only news of interest would be that I got all my paper work for student loans filled out. I also decided that while I’m down there, I’m going to try to get a part-time job there at the school.

Christina, on the other hand has decided not to go back this year. I personally do not like this but she is an adult and can make up her own mind.

Oh, speaking of the loans reminds me, I’m seriously thinking about getting one of them new MacBooks with my student loans. Traveling back and forth from Jefferson City and Union, I do think that getting a notebook would be real handy. Also, I’ve always wanted to play around with the Mac OS, and this will give me a chance to and still run Windows at the same time. How can I beat that? (With that, I’m expecting you, Mr. Swabby, to say, “With a stick!”)

I just downloaded the beta for Office 2007. Besides liking the fact that they went back to using the year as its version, I do like the layout, or The Ribbon™, as they call it. I am right now testing the blogging feature. If this works, it will be a great little feature.

An update

Been awhile since I’ve updated, so I should let you all know what is going on.

Last Wednesday, I got signed up for classes. This semester, I’m only talking 8 credit hours and will be in class one Tuesdays and Thursdays. With this schedule, I don’t have to really quit my job and move down there. But Christina still will. Her A+ will only take effect if she goes to school full time. She is still planning on finding a place with Lacey.
